Discover Montana’s only walkable beer trail in Billings

The Billings Brew Trail – Montana’s only walkable craft beverage trail – is a 1.5-mile loop through historic downtown Billings that treats hikers to six breweries, two distilleries and a cider house. Many of the locations along the trail boast menus of scrumptious foods to keep you fueled up along your journey.

With two locations along the Billings Brew Trail, Thirsty Street Brewing offers 16 styles of beer ranging from dark ales to sours, and even some reduced-gluten options. With four other stops at Überbrew, Carter’s Brewing, Angry Hank’s and Montana Brewing Company, hikers can sample dozens of fresh, locally crafted beers.

If you prefer different libations, there’s something along the trail for you, too. Check out Last Chance Pub and Cider Mill, which treats patrons to a variety of fresh ciders set in a repurposed industrial warehouse that retains its rugged, industrial aesthetic.

Or lift your spirits at Undammed Distilling Company and Asylum Distillery with locally crafted gins, whiskeys and vodkas. There are also other establishments outside the downtown area to explore during your stay at Montana’s Trailhead, including local winery Yellowstone Cellars.

While there are plenty of trails in Billings where you can work up a thirst, you’ll love this one that quenches it.
