Casper’s Summer Calendar is Jam-Packed with Activities
Casper is known for some of the very best events in Wyoming, and there are many worth taking a trip for. From rodeos and art festivals to brew fests, there’s a festival for every type of traveler in Casper.
The community comes alive in the summer months with festivals, events and rodeos nearly every week. Every June, Casper hosts the best collegiate rodeo athletes in the country for the College National Finals Rodeo. Then in July, Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, one of the top 35 PRCA rodeos in the United States, takes place with five nightly outdoor rodeo performances. The Beartrap Summer Festival fills Beartrap Meadow on Casper Mountain every August with live music and vendors selling food, handmade goods and art. Meanwhile, David Street Station hosts farmers markets, movie nights, festivals and concerts in the heart of downtown Casper all summer long.
In the colder months, downtown Casper transforms into a winter wonderland, with the highlight of the season being the community Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade at the end of November.
